The 2014 racing season came to an end in early October for PDS clients Starworks Motorsport, Burton Racing and Falken Tire with each team scoring at least one win this year.
Starworks was the most decorated with three wins in the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship PC Class. The team scored their first victory at Laguna Seca earlier this year and ended the season with a win at Petit Le Mans.
Thanks to their three wins and three other podium finishes, the team placed third in the PC Class Team Championship.
In the TUDOR Championship GT Class, the Falken Tire team didn’t know as much success as they would’ve liked throughout the season but they did close out the year with a class win at the famed Petit Le Mans giving them a second podium in 2014, after finishing in the top three at VIR in August.
The Indianapolis-based squad has already announced that they will be returning to the TUDOR Championship for 2015.
Finally, in the IMSA Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge ST Class, the 2013 Championship winning Burton Racing team followed up their very successful year with a third place in the final points standings with their #23 car. The team scored one win (Road America) and one podium finish (VIR) in 2014.
